Assembly Resolution No. 3–Committee on
Legislative Operations and Elections

ASSEMBLY RESOLUTION—Providing allowances to the
leadership and other members of the Assembly for
periodicals, stamps, stationery and communications.
RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, That
the sum to be allowed, as provided by law, for each member of the
Assembly for periodicals, stamps a nd stationery is $60 and for the
use of telephones is $2,800, and the sum to be allowed, as provided
by law, for the Speaker and Speaker Pro Tempore, Majority Floor
Leader, Minority Floor Leader and chair of each standing committee
of the Assembly for post age, telephone tolls and other
communication charges is $900; and be it further
RESOLVED, That these amounts be certified by the Speaker and
Chief Clerk to the State Controller, who is authorized to draw
warrants therefor on the Legislative Fund, and the State Treasurer is
thereafter authorized to pay these warrants; and be it further
RESOLVED, That this resolution becomes effective upon
adoption.
