AN ACT making appropriations to Clark County and the Cities of
Reno and Sparks for programs for rental assistance to
certain persons; and providing other matters properly
relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. 1. There is hereby appro priated from the State 1
General Fund to Clark County for programs for rental assistance to 2
persons who are elderly, persons with disabilities and families or 3
persons facing an unanticipated emergency the following sums: 4
For the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 ............................. $12,000,000 5
For the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 ............................. $12,000,000 6
2. Upon acceptance of the money appropriated by subsection 1, 7
the County Manager of Clark County agrees to: 8
(a) Prepare and transmit a report to the Interim Finance 9
Committee on or before December 18, 2026, that describes each 10
expenditure made from the money appropriated by subsection 1 11
from the date on which the money was received by Clark County 12
through December 1, 2026; 13
(b) Prepare and transmit a final report to the Interim Finance 14
Committee on or before September 17, 2027, that describes each 15

expenditure made from the money appropriated by subsection 1 1
from the date on which the money was received by Clark County 2
through June 30, 2027; and 3
(c) Upon request of the Legislative Commission, make available 4
to the Legislative Auditor any of the books, accounts, claims, 5
reports, vouchers or other records of information, confidential or 6
otherwise, of Clark County, regardless of their form or location, that 7
the Legislative Auditor deems necessary to conduct an audit of the 8
use of the money appropriated by subsection 1. 9
3. Any balance of the sums appropriated by subsection 1 10
remaining at the end of the respective fiscal years must not be 11
committed for expenditure after June 30 of the respective fiscal 12
years by the entity to which the appropriation is made or any entity 13
to which money from the appropriation is granted or otherwise 14
transferred in any manner, and any portion of the appropriated 15
money remaining must not be spent for any purpose after 16
September 18, 2026, and September 17, 2027, respectively, by 17
either the entity to which the money was appropriated or the entity 18
to which the money was subsequently granted or transferred, and 19
must be reverted to the State General Fund on or before 20
September 18, 2026, and September 17, 2027, respectively. 21
Sec. 2. 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State 22
General Fund to the City of Reno for programs for rental assistance 23
to persons who are elderly, persons with disabilities and families or 24
persons facing an unanticipated emergency the following sums: 25
For the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 ............................... $3,000,000 26
For the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 ............................... $3,000,000 27
2. Upon acceptance of the money appropriated by subsection 1, 28
the City Manager of the City of Reno agrees to: 29
(a) Prepare and transmit a report to the Interim Finance 30
Committee on or before December 18, 2026, that describes each 31
expenditure made from the money appropriated by subsection 1 32
from the date on which the money was received by the City of Reno 33
through December 1, 2026; 34
(b) Prepare and transmit a final report to the Interim Finance 35
Committee on or before September 17, 2027, that describes each 36
expenditure made from the money appropriated by subsection 1 37
from the date on which the money was received by the City of Reno 38
through June 30, 2027; and 39
(c) Upon request of the Legislative Commission, make available 40

For the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 ............................... $1,500,000 19
2. Upon acceptance of the money appropriated by subsection 1, 20
the City Manager of the City of Sparks agrees to: 21
(a) Prepare and transmit a report to the Interim Finance 22
Committee on or before December 18, 2026, that describes each 23
expenditure made from the m oney appropriated by subsection 1 24
from the date on which the money was received by the City of 25
Sparks through December 1, 2026; 26
(b) Prepare and transmit a final report to the Interim Finance 27
Committee on or before September 17, 2027, that describes each 28
expenditure made from the money appropriated by subsection 1 29
from the date on which the money was received by the City of 30
Sparks through June 30, 2027; and 31
(c) Upon request of the Legislative Commission, make 32
available to the Legislative Auditor any of the books, accounts, 33

confidential or otherwise, of the City of Sparks , regardless of their 35
