AN ACT making an appropriation to Workforce Connections for a
program for certain youth; and providing other matters
properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State 1
General Fund to Workforce Connections for a program to provide 2
education, training and employment opportunities and related wrap -3
around services to youth who are 16 years of age or older but less 4
than 25 years of age and who are not enrolled in an educational 5
program and are not employed the following sums: 6
For the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 ............................... $7,500,000 7
For the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 ............................... $7,500,000 8
2. Any balance of the sums appropriated by subsection 1 9
remaining at the end of the respective fiscal years must not be 10
committed for expenditure after June 30 of the respective fiscal 11
years by the entity to which the appropriation is made or any entity 12
to which money from the appropriation is granted or otherwise 13
transferred in any manner, and any portion of the appropriated 14
money remaining must not be spent for any purpose after 15
September 18, 2026, and September 17, 2027, respectively, by 16
either the entity to w hich the money was appropriated or the entity 17
to which the money was subsequently granted or transferred, 18

and must be reverted to the State General Fund on or before 1
September 18, 2026, and September 17, 2027, respectively. 2
Sec. 2. This act becomes effective on July 1, 2025. 3
