AN ACT making appropriations to the Nevada System of Higher
Education for expenditures related to instruction that are
due to caseload adjustments at certain institutions within
the System; and providing other matters properly relating
thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 1
Fund to the Nevada System of Higher Education the sum of 2
$2,162,683 for expenditures related to instruction that are due to 3
caseload adjustments at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. 4
Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 5
Fund to the Nevada System of Higher Education the sum of 6
$145,763 for expenditures related to instruction that are due to 7
caseload adjustments at Nevada State University. 8
Sec. 3. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 9
Fund to the Nevada System of Higher Education the sum of 10

$981,696 for expenditures related to instruction that are due to 1
caseload adjustments at the College of Southern Nevada. 2
Sec. 4. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 3
Fund to the Nevada System of Higher Education the sum of 4
$469,062 for expenditures related to instruction that are due to 5
caseload adjustments at Western Nevada College. 6
Sec. 5. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 7
Fund to the Nevada System of Higher Education the sum of 8
$1,101,684 for expenditures related to ins truction that are due to 9
caseload adjustments at Truckee Meadows Community College. 10
Sec. 6. Any remaining balance of the appropriations made by 11
sections 1 to 5, inclusive, of this act must not be committed for 12
expenditure a fter June 30, 2027, by the entity to which the 13
appropriation is made or any entity to which money from the 14
appropriation is granted or otherwise transferred in any manner, and 15
any portion of the appropriated money remaining must not be spent 16
for any purpos e after September 17, 2027, by either the entity to 17
which the money was appropriated or the entity to which the money 18
was subsequently granted or transferred, and must be reverted to the 19
State General Fund on or before September 17, 2027. 20
Sec. 7. This act becomes effective on July 1, 2026. 21
