AN ACT relating to public employees; making appropriations for
the implementation of certain collective bargaining
agreements; and providing other matters properly rel ating
thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State 1
General Fund to the Office of Finance in the Office of the Governor 2
the sum of $ 122,083 for the costs of implementing the provisions 3
relating to union leave in the collective bargaining agreement 4
covering personnel represented by the bargaining unit established in 5
paragraph (m) of subsection 1 of NRS 288.515. 6
2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by 7
subsection 1 must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 8
2027, by the entity to which the appropriation is made or any entity 9
to which money from the appropriation is granted or otherwise 10
transferred in any manner, and any portion of the appropriated 11
money remaining must not be spent for any purpose after 12
September 17, 2027, by either the entity to which the money was 13
appropriated or the entity to which the money was subsequently 14

granted or tra nsferred, and must be reverted to the State General 1
Fund on or before September 17, 2027. 2
Sec. 2. 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State 3
General Fund to the Office of Finance in the Office of the Governor 4
the sum of $21,155,823 for the costs of implementing the provisions 5
of the collective bargaining agreement covering personnel 6
represented by the bargaining unit established in paragraph (n) of 7
subsection 1 of NRS 288.515. 8
2. Any remaining balance of the appropria tion made by 9
subsection 1 must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 10
2027, by the entity to which the appropriation is made or any entity 11
to which money from the appropriation is granted or otherwise 12
transferred in any manner, and any portion of the appropriated 13
money remaining must not be spent for any purpose after 14
September 17, 2027, by either the entity to which the money was 15
appropriated or the entity to which the money was subsequently 16
granted or transferred, and must be reverted to the Stat e General 17
Fund on or before September 17, 2027. 18
Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval. 19
