STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

AN ACT
prohibiting the Grafton county attorney from engaging in the private practice of law.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

117:1 New Section; Private Practice Prohibited; Grafton County. Amend RSA 7 by inserting after section 34-g the following new section:
7:34-h Private Practice Prohibited; Grafton County. The Grafton county attorney shall not directly or indirectly engage in the private practice of law or accept any fees or compensation other than her or his official salary for any legal services. Private practice of law does not include the provision of legal services without charge to the members of the county attorney's family, when the provision of these services does not conflict with her or his official duties.

117:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
