STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

AN ACT prohibiting investments by the New Hampshire retirement system in businesses owned by a sitting president or their immediate family.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Management of Funds. Amend RSA 100-A:15, I-a(b)(4) to read as follows:
(4) May invest in any kind of property or type of investment consistent with this section
, provided these are not instruments, businesses, or any type of deposit owned by a sitting president of the United States or their family, or in which an instrument, business, or type of deposit owned by a sitting president or their family make up a share thereof
.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
