STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six
AN ACT
relative to qualifications to practice acupuncture.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
223:1 Definition of NADA Training. Amend RSA 328-G:2, XII to read as follows:
XII. "NADA training" means the standardized auricular acupuncture protocol developed by NADA [
that is in effect on July 1, 2017
].
223:2 Acupuncture; Board Membership. Amend the introductory paragraph of RSA 328-G:3, I(a) to read as follows:

acupuncturists,
and one certified acupuncture detoxification specialist,
appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the council, who shall:
223:3 Acupuncture. Amend RSA 328-G:9, II(e)(1) to read as follows:
(e)(1) Has earned [
a baccalaureate, registered nurse, or physician associate degree from an accredited institution, and has
] a current, valid license to practice acupuncture from another state whose requirements are substantially equal to or exceed the requirements of RSA 328-G:9, II; or
223:4 Definition of NCBAHM. RSA 328-G:2, VII is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
VII. "NCBAHM" means the National Certification Board of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, including its predecessors and successors.
223:5 Change from NCCAOM to NCBAHM. Amend the following RSA provisions by replacing NCCAOM with NCBAHM: RSA 328-G:9, II and X.
223:6 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
