STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

AN ACT
adding a definition for rules relative to innovation schools.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Innovation Schools; Definition Added. Amend RSA 194-E:1 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:
IV. "Rules" means administrative rules and related state laws. "Rules," as defined in this paragraph, shall not apply to RSA 194-E:8.

2 New Section; Innovation Schools; Applicability. Amend RSA 194-E by inserting after section 8 the following new section:
194-E:9 Applicability. Rules or laws in this chapter related to student or school safety shall not be subject to waivers.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
