STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Five

AN ACT
relative to membership of the Pease development authority board of directors.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Pease Development Authority; Management by Board of Directors; Executive Director
. Amend RSA 12-G:4, I to read as follows:
I. The management of the authority shall be vested in a board of

] directors to be appointed as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the governor and executive council.
(b) One member appointed by the mayor and city council of the city of Portsmouth.
(c) One member appointed by the board of selectmen of the town of Newington.
(d) One member appointed by the president of the senate.
(e) One member appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives.
(f) One member appointed jointly by the board of selectmen of the town of Greenland and the board of selectmen of the town of Newington.

(g) One member appointed by the board of selectmen of the town of Hampton.
(h) One member appointed by the board of selectmen of the town of Rye.

] One member who is nominated by majority vote of the legislative delegation of Strafford county, including the senators whose districts include towns in Strafford county, and who is appointed by the governor, the senate president, and the speaker of the house. The member appointed in this manner shall be a resident of Strafford county and shall serve an initial term of 2 years beginning June 1, 1993. Subsequent terms shall be governed by the provisions of this section. The member appointed in this manner may be removed from office for cause after hearing by the Strafford county legislative delegation.
