STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

AN ACT

relative to the detention of a minor attaining the age of 18 during the pendency of a delinquency action.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

58:1 Delinquent Children; Release or Detention Pending Adjudicatory Hearing. Amend the introductory paragraph of RSA 169-B:14, I(e) to read as follows:
(e) Detained at a facility certified by the commissioner of the department of health and human services for detention of minors
if under age 18, or at a county corrections facility once reaching age 18 or older,
pursuant to the following:

58:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
