STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

AN ACT
relative to the right of therapeutic cannabis patients to purchase, possess, and transfer firearms in accordance with state law.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Therapeutic Use of Cannabis Protections; Right to Purchase, Possess, and Transfer Firearms. Amend RSA 126-X:2 by inserting after paragraph XVII the following new paragraph:
XVIII. A qualifying patient's therapeutic use of cannabis in accordance with this chapter shall not affect the individual's right to purchase, possess, and transfer firearms in accordance with New Hampshire law.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
