STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

AN ACT
removing a reference to procurement through the department of administrative services for certain capital appropriations to the community college system of New Hampshire, changing the name of a capital project, and changing a reference regarding spaces assigned for use for members of the legislature.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

27:1 Capital Improvements; Community College System of New Hampshire. Amend 2025, 159:4, I and II to read as follows:
I. The appropriations made for the community college system in paragraph II of section 1 and the sums available for this project
, and paragraph II of section 13, and the sums available for this project,
shall be expended by the trustees of the community college system of New Hampshire.
II. The appropriations made to the community college system in paragraph II of section 1
and paragraph II of section 13
are available for all costs incidental to the completion of the project enumerated including but not limited to the costs of the services for architects, engineers, and other consultants of such kind and capacity as the community college system board of trustees may, in its discretion, wish to employ on such terms and conditions as the board determines. These monies shall be spent under the direction of the community college system board of trustees and pursuant to the policies adopted by the board of trustees.

27:2 Legislative Officers and Proceedings; Office Space and Parking Facilities. Amend RSA 14:14-b, IV to read as follows:
IV. All rooms and other spaces of the state house annex designated and assigned for use by the speaker of the house and the president of the senate, including but not limited to the west wing of the [

27:4 Repeal. 2025, 159:13, IV, relative to a requirement that certain contracts and projects concerning capital appropriations for the community college system of New Hampshire be awarded in accordance with RSA 21-I, is repealed.

27:5 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
