STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

AN ACT
making an appropriation to the university system of New Hampshire.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Appropriation; University System of New Hampshire. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, the sum of $14,000,000 is appropriated to the university system of New Hampshire for the purpose of restoring funding to university system that was reduced pursuant to 2025, 140 (HB 1). The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

2 Appropriation; Community College System of New Hampshire. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, the sum of $3,500,000 is appropriated to the community college system of New Hampshire for the purpose of lowering credit-hour tuition rates to continue the previous freeze. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026.
