����� The Assembly State and Local Government Committee
reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 1295.

����� As reported, t
his bill supplements the "Local Government Ethics
Law," P.L.1991, c.29 (C.40A:9-22.1 et seq.), to provide that a local
government agency cannot employ any person in a full-time or part-time position
while that person is on paid leave from a full-time or part-time position with
a local government agency of another county or municipality.

����� This bill was prefiled for introduction in the
2026-2027 session pending technical review.� As reported, the bill includes the
changes required by technical review, which has been performed.
