An Act
amending P.L.2025, c.74, the annual appropriations act
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, to clarify the distribution of
certain Health Services funding.

by the Senate and the General Assembly
of the State of New Jersey:
���� 1.� The following line item in
section 1 of P.L.2025, c.74, the annual appropriations act for State Fiscal
Year 2026, is amended to read as follows:

���� 2.� This act shall take effect
immediately.
STATEMENT
���� The Fiscal Year 2026 annual
appropriations act allocated $2 million to Salvation and Social Justice, a
non-profit entity located in Trenton, New Jersey, for a restorative maternal
health birthing center.� This bill amends the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations
act to reassign this funding to the Greater Mount Zion Community Development
Corporation.�
���� This bill does not alter the
purpose for which the funds were appropriated.� This bill also does not
increase appropriations in the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations act.
���� The Greater Mount Zion
Community Development Corporation is a Trenton-based non-profit entity that
supports community development, historic preservation, maternal health, and
workforce development initiatives to improve the quality of life in the City of
Trenton.
