����� The Assembly Appropriations Committee reports
favorably Assembly Bill No. 5287.

����� As reported, this bill reallocates certain prior-year
unexpended funds appropriated to the City of Paterson for Recreation Center
Capital Improvements to the New Jersey Community Development Corporation for a
youth center project in the City of Paterson.

����� The Fiscal Year 2025 annual appropriations act
allocated $2 million to the City of Paterson for recreation center capital
improvements.� This bill amends the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations act to
reassign the balance of that appropriation, which remains unspent, from the
City of Paterson to the New Jersey Community Development Corporation to support
a youth center project in the City of Paterson.� The State also appropriated
$5.13 million to the New Jersey Community Development Corporation for this purpose
in Fiscal Year 2025.� This bill does not increase appropriations in the Fiscal
Year 2026 appropriations act.
