        AN  ACT  to  amend the cannabis law, in relation to requiring applicants
          for a permit, registration, or license issued by the cannabis  control
          board  to  report any relevant law enforcement interactions that occur
          during the application review process

          THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
        BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

     1    Section  1.  The cannabis law is amended by adding a new section 128-a
     2  to read as follows:
     3    § 128-A. APPLICANTS FOR PERMITS, REGISTRATIONS, AND  LICENSES.  1.  AN
     4  APPLICANT FOR A PERMIT, REGISTRATION, OR LICENSE ISSUED UNDER THIS CHAP-
     5  TER  SHALL REPORT TO THE BOARD ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERACTIONS RELEVANT
     6  TO ITS APPLICATION FOR SUCH PERMIT, REGISTRATION, OR LICENSE,  INCLUDING
     7  ANY  ARRESTS MADE OR TICKETS ISSUED, OCCURRING AFTER SUCH APPLICATION IS
     8  SUBMITTED AND BEFORE ISSUANCE OF SUCH PERMIT, REGISTRATION, OR LICENSE.
     9    2. AN APPLICANT'S FAILURE TO MAKE A REPORT TO THE BOARD REQUIRED UNDER
    10  SUBDIVISION ONE OF THIS SECTION SHALL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DENIAL OF SUCH
    11  APPLICANT'S APPLICATION FOR ANY PERMIT, REGISTRATION, OR  LICENSE  UNDER
    12  THIS  CHAPTER.  IF  DISCOVERY  OF  SUCH FAILURE TO MAKE A REPORT IS MADE
    13  AFTER THE ISSUANCE  OF  SUCH  PERMIT,  REGISTRATION,  OR  LICENSE,  SUCH
    14  PERMIT, REGISTRATION, OR LICENSE SHALL BE AUTOMATICALLY REVOKED.
    15    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
