        MOURNING  the  death  of  Thomas  Patrick McMahon,
        United  States   Navy   veteran,   dedicated   union
        carpenter, and distinguished member of his community

  WHEREAS,  It  is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor and pay
tribute to those esteemed citizens whose lives of  service,  dedication,
and  integrity  have  left  a  lasting  and meaningful impact upon their
families, communities, and the State of New York; and

  WHEREAS, Thomas Patrick McMahon, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, New
York, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 79; and

  WHEREAS, Born on October 25, 1946, in Manhattan,  New  York,  Thomas
Patrick McMahon was the son of the late Peter and Bessie McMahon; and

  WHEREAS,  Thomas  Patrick  McMahon proudly served his country in the
United States Navy for four years, demonstrating honor, discipline,  and
a steadfast commitment to service; and

  WHEREAS,  Following  his  military  service,  Thomas Patrick McMahon
pursued a skilled trade career as a union carpenter, contributing to the
building and strengthening of his community through  his  craftsmanship,
diligence, and dedication to quality work; and

  WHEREAS,  Thomas  Patrick  McMahon was a man of varied interests and
rich appreciation  for  life's  simple  pleasures,  including  classical
music,  older  sports  cars,  cartoons,  and classic film genres such as
Westerns and science fiction; and

  WHEREAS, He  was  known  for  his  kindness,  generosity,  depth  of
knowledge, and his ability to connect with others through humor, warmth,
and sincerity; and

  WHEREAS,  Above  all,  Thomas  Patrick  McMahon  shared  a  deep and
enduring bond with his devoted wife of 56 years, Agatha  McMahon,  whose
companionship and love were central to his life; and

  WHEREAS,  He  is  survived  by his beloved wife, Agatha McMahon; his
brother, Donald McMahon; and his  sister,  Catherine  McMahon,  together
with  extended  family  members and friends who will forever cherish his
memory; and

  WHEREAS, Thomas Patrick McMahon's life was marked by  service,  hard
work,  loyalty, and devotion to family, leaving behind a legacy of love,
craftsmanship, and kindness that will continue to inspire all  who  knew
him; and

  WHEREAS, The passing of Thomas Patrick McMahon represents a profound
loss  to  his  family,  friends,  and  community, and his memory will be
forever treasured by those whose lives he touched; now, therefore, be it

  RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its  deliberations  to
mourn  the  death of Thomas Patrick McMahon, honoring his service in the

United States Navy, his contributions as  a  union  carpenter,  and  his
enduring devotion to his family and community; and be it further

  RESOLVED,  That  a  copy  of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Thomas Patrick McMahon.
