Assembly Resolution No. 1542

        COMMEMORATING  the  70th  Anniversary  of King Pin
        Lanes of Rome, New York

  WHEREAS, It is the custom of  this  Legislative  Body  to  recognize
those  small businesses within the State of New York which contribute to
the economic health and vitality of the communities they serve; and

  WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and  in  full  accord  with  its
longstanding  traditions,  this  Legislative  Body  is  justly  proud to
commemorate the 70th Anniversary of King Pin Lanes of Rome, New York, to
be celebrated in 2026; and

  WHEREAS, For seven decades, King Pin Lanes has stood as a  cherished
gathering  place in the City of Rome, providing generations of residents
with opportunities for recreation, fellowship, competition,  and  family
entertainment; and

  WHEREAS, Located on East Dominick Street in Rome, New York, King Pin
Lanes  has  become  a fixture of the Rome community, welcoming countless
families, friends, students, coworkers, and visitors through  its  doors
while  fostering  lasting memories and meaningful community connections;
and

  WHEREAS, Throughout its distinguished history, King  Pin  Lanes  has
adapted  to  meet  the  changing  needs of the community while remaining
committed to the values of hospitality,  family-centered  entertainment,
and exceptional service; and

  WHEREAS,  In  addition  to serving as a premier bowling center, King
Pin Lanes has hosted leagues, youth programs, tournaments,  fundraisers,
birthday  celebrations,  reunions,  corporate  gatherings,  and numerous
charitable and community events, strengthening the social fabric of  the
region; and

  WHEREAS,  As a locally recognized small business, King Pin Lanes has
contributed significantly to the economic development  of  the  City  of
Rome    by   creating   employment   opportunities,   supporting   local
organizations, and attracting visitors from throughout Central New York;
and

  WHEREAS, The enduring success of King Pin Lanes is  a  testament  to
the  vision, dedication, and hard work of its ownership and staff, whose
commitment to excellence has  enabled  the  business  to  thrive  across
generations; and

  WHEREAS,  It  is  with  great  pleasure  that  this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business  and  its  contributions  to  the
local  and  State  economies,  fully  confident that it will continue to
enjoy  the  sparkling  successes  it  has  experienced  thus  far;  now,
therefore, be it

  RESOLVED,  That  this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 70th Anniversary of King Pin Lanes of  Rome,  New  York,

and  to honor its many years of outstanding service to the people of the
City of Rome, Oneida County, and the  State  of  New  York;  and  be  it
further

  RESOLVED,  That  a  copy  of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to King Pin Lanes.
