        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation  to  updating  the  defi-
          nition of cyberbullying in the dignity for all students act

          THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
        BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

     1    Section 1. Subdivision 8 of section 11 of the education law, as  added
     2  by chapter 102 of the laws of 2012, is amended to read as follows:
     3    8.  "Cyberbullying"  shall  mean  harassment or bullying as defined in
     4  subdivision seven of this section, including paragraphs  (a),  (b),  (c)
     5  and  (d)  of  such subdivision, where such harassment or bullying occurs
     6  through any form  of  electronic  communication.  "CYBERBULLYING"  SHALL
     7  INCLUDE,  BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, INTENTIONALLY USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLI-
     8  GENCE TO MIMIC OR ALTER A  PERSON'S  LIKENESS  OR  VOICE  WITHOUT  THEIR
     9  CONSENT.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
