        AN ACT to amend the education law and the public health law, in relation
          to prescription labels for  gonadotropin-releasing  hormone  agonists,
          pubertal  suppressants, anabolic steroids, alpha reductase inhibitors,
          progestins, or drug classes for hormone replacement therapy for treat-
          ment of gender dysphoria

          THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
        BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  b-1  of  subdivision  1 of section 6807 of the
     2  education law, as amended by chapter 108 of the laws of 2025, is amended
     3  to read as follows:
     4    b-1. Notwithstanding paragraph b of this  [section]  SUBDIVISION,  the
     5  prescription  label for mifepristone [or], misoprostol, GONADOTROPIN-RE-
     6  LEASING HORMONE  AGONISTS,  PUBERTAL  SUPPRESSANTS,  ANABOLIC  STEROIDS,
     7  ALPHA  REDUCTASE  INHIBITORS,  PROGESTINS,  OR  DRUG CLASSES FOR HORMONE
     8  REPLACEMENT THERAPY FOR TREATMENT OF GENDER DYSPHORIA, may  include  the
     9  name  or  address  of the dispensing health care practice instead of the
    10  name of the dispenser.
    11    § 2. Subdivision 1-a of section 6810 of the education law, as  amended
    12  by chapter 108 of the laws of 2025, is amended to read as follows:
    13    1-a.   Notwithstanding   subdivision  one  of  this  section,  at  the
    14  prescriber's request, the  prescription  label  for  mifepristone  [or],
    15  misoprostol,  GONADOTROPIN-RELEASING HORMONE AGONISTS, PUBERTAL SUPPRES-
    16  SANTS, ANABOLIC STEROIDS, ALPHA  REDUCTASE  INHIBITORS,  PROGESTINS,  OR
    17  DRUG  CLASSES  FOR  HORMONE  REPLACEMENT THERAPY FOR TREATMENT OF GENDER
    18  DYSPHORIA, shall include the name or address of the  prescribing  health
    19  care practice instead of the name of the prescriber.
    20    §  3.  Section 280-d of the public health law, as added by chapter 108
    21  of the laws of 2025, is amended to read as follows:
    22    § 280-d. Patient notification of prescription label change.  A  health
    23  care prescriber shall inform the patient if such prescriber has included
    24  or  has  requested  to  include  the  name or address of the prescribing
    25  health care practice instead of the  name  of  such  prescriber  on  the

     5    § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
