A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO PROVIDE FO R ADOPTION OF LAND -USE PLANNING OVERLAYS FOR 2
THE HARNETT COUNTY JETPORT. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. G.S. 160D-904 reads as rewritten: 5
"§ 160D-904. Airport zoning. 6
(a) Any local government may enact and enforce airport zoning regulations pursuant to 7
this Chapter or as authorized by Article 4 of Chapter 63 of the General Statutes. 8
G.S. 160D-601(d) shall not apply to airport zoning regulations. 9
(b) Airport zoning regulatio ns for real property within 6 miles of any cargo airport 10
complex site subject to regulation by the North Carolina Global TransPark Authority are 11
governed by G.S. 63A-18." 12
SECTION 2. This act applies only to Harnett County. 13
SECTION 3. This act is effective when it becomes law. 14
