A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO CASWELL COUNTY FOR THE REPLACEMENT 2
OF THE CASVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT'S FACILITY. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 5
Budget and Management the sum of one million seven hundred thousand dollars ($1,700,000) in 6
nonrecurring funds for the 2026-2027 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to Caswell County 7
for the replacement of the Casville Volunteer Fire Department's facility. 8
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026. 9
