A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS FOR THE EXPA NSION OF THE GUILFOR D 2
TECHNICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE AVIATION CENTER. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community 5
Colleges System Office the sum of one million eight hundred thousand dollars ($1,800,000) in 6
nonrecurring funds for the 2026 -2027 fiscal year to be allocated to Guilford Technical 7
Community College (GTCC) to support the expansion of the GTCC Aviation Center and for 8
capital expenses related to that expansion. Funds appropriated in this section shall not revert but 9
shall remain available until expended. 10
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026. 11
