A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS TO FORSYTH T ECHNICAL COMMUNITY 2
COLLEGE TO DEVELOP A LAW ENFORCEMENT DRIVING TRAINING CENTER. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community 5
Colleges System Office the sum of six million one hundred thousand dollars ($6,100,000) in 6
nonrecurring funds for the 2026-2027 fiscal year to be allocated to Forsyth Technical Community 7
College (Forsyth Tech) to be used to establish a law enforcement driving training center in King, 8
North Carolina, in partnership with the City of Winston-Salem. The center shall include a driving 9
pad, roadway, and instructional building to be used as part of For syth Tech's Basic Law 10
Enforcement Training and continuing education programs. 11
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026. 12
