A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE CITY O F ASHEVILLE TO CONDU CT OR 2
FACILITATE A STUDY ON THE FEASIBILITY OF EXTENDING THE CITY'S WATER 3
SYSTEM TO THE NEW PISGAH VIEW STATE PARK. 4
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 5
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the City of Asheville 6
the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal 7
year for the purpose of conducting or facilitating a study on the feasibility and cost of extending 8
the City's water system several miles to serve the new Pisgah View State Park. 9
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 10
