A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC PROJECTS IN P ERSON 2
COUNTY. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 5
Budget and Management the sum of ten million dollars ($10,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for 6
the 2025 -2026 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the City of Roxboro for repairs and 7
upgrades to the City's wastewater and treatment plant. 8
SECTION 2. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 9
Budget and Management the sum of eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) in nonrecurring 10
funds for the 2025 -2026 fiscal y ear to provide a directed grant to Person County to enable the 11
Recreation, Arts, and Parks Department to construct a splash pad. 12
SECTION 3. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 13
Budget and Management the sum of five million do llars ($5,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for 14
the 2025-2026 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to Piedmont Community College to upfit 15
and purchase equipment for its Center for Health, Advanced Technology, and Trades. 16
SECTION 4. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 17
