A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO ADOPT THE FIRST DAY OF MAY OF EACH YEAR AS WOMEN VETERANS 2
DAY IN NORTH CAROLINA. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. Chapter 103 of the General Statutes is amended by adding a new 5
section to read: 6
"§ 103-19. Women Veterans Day. 7
The first day of May of each year is designated as Women Veterans Day in North Carolina." 8
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law. 9
