A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO DIRECT THE STATE BOARD OF COMMUNITY COLLEGES TO INCLUDE 2
THE HARNETT AND CHAT HAM HEALTH SCIENCES LOCATIONS IN THE 3
FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT CALCULATION OF THE RESPECTIVE MAIN 4
CAMPUSES OF CENTRAL CAROLINA COMMUNITY C OLLEGE FOR THE 5
PURPOSES OF MAINTAINING MULTICAMPUS CENTER STATUS. 6
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 7
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding G.S. 115D-5(o) and any State Board of Community 8
Colleges policy to the contrary, the State Board of Community Colleges shall calculate the budget 9
full-time equivalent (FTE) enrolled at the Harnett Main Campus for the purposes of multicampus 10
center status by combining the total number of FTE at the Harnett Main Campus with the total 11
number of FTE at the Harnett Health Sciences Center. 12
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding G.S. 115D-5(o) and any State Board of Community 13
Colleges policy to the contrary, the State Board of Community Colleges shall calculate the budget 14
full-time equivalent (FTE) enrolled at the Chatham Main Campus for the purpo ses of 15
multicampus center status by combining the total number of FTE at the Chatham Main Campus 16
with the total number of FTE at the Chatham Health Sciences Center. 17
SECTION 3. This act is effective when it becomes law. 18
