A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 2 OF S.L. 2024-31. 2
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 3
SECTION 1. Section 2 of S.L. 2024-31 is repealed. 4
SECTION 2. Prosecutions for offenses charged prior to the enactment of this act 5
shall be abated. Any charges shall be dismissed without leave. 6
SECTION 3. This act is effective when it becomes law and applies retroactively to 7
December 1, 2024. 8
