A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE PATRIOT STAR FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP 2
PROGRAM. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors 5
of The University of North Carolina for the 2025-2026 fiscal year the sum of two million dollars 6
($2,000,000) in recurring funds to be allocated to the Patriot Foundation for the operation of the 7
North Carolina Patriot Star Family Scholarship Program. 8
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 9
