A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS TO SCOTLAND COUNTY FOR WASTEWATE R 2
TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. The sum of thirty -five million dollars ($35,000,000) in nonrecurring 5
funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year is appropriated from the General Fund to Scotland County 6
for improvements or upgrades to the County's wastewater treatment plant. 7
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 8
