Referred to: Appropriations, if favorable, Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House April 3, 2025 *H748-v-1* A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1 AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO THE CITY OF GREENSBORO FOR WATER AND 2 WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENTS. 3 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4 SECTION 1. The sum of five million dollars ($5,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for 5 the 2025 -2026 fiscal year is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of 6 Environmental Quality, Division of Water Infrastructure, to provide a grant to the City of 7 Greensboro (City) for planning and other preliminary work for water and wastewater extensions 8 to economic development sites at Piedmont Triad International Airport. 9 SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 10
