A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO SUPPORT AGGIE ACADEMY, A 2
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA LABORATORY SCHOOL AT NORTH 3
CAROLINA AGRICULTURAL AND TECHNICAL STATE UNIVERSITY. 4
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 5
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors 6
of The University of North Carolina the sum of one million dollars ($1,000,000) in recurring 7
funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to be allocated to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical 8
State University to provide additional support for NC A&T Aggie Academy, a University of 9
North Carolina laboratory school established pursuant to Article 29A of Chapter 116 of the 10
General Statutes. 11
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 12
