AN ACT TO PROVIDE FU NDS TO ALLEVIATE FLA SH FLOODING IN THE T OWN OF 2
AYDEN. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. The sum of three million dollars ($3,000,000) in nonrecurring funds 5
for the 2026-2027 fiscal year is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Ayden for 6
stormwater management projects intended to mitigate flooding hazard in the Kennedy Estates 7
subdivision of the Town. 8
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026. 9
