A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS FOR THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF TH E 2
COASTAL PLAIN. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 5
Budget and Management the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in nonrecurring 6
funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the 7
Coastal Plain Foundation for operational expenses and expansion of programs. These funds shall 8
be used for the Clubs in Pitt County only. 9
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 10
