A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR A PART-TIME VETERAN SERVICES OFFICER 2
IN JONES COUNTY. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of 5
Military and Veterans Affairs the sum of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) in recurring funds for 6
each year of the 2025-2027 fiscal biennium to fund a part-time Veteran Services Officer position 7
in Jones County. 8
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 9
