A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS TO DURHAM CO UNTY TO ENHANCE AND 2
UPGRADE COUNTY WASTE WATER UTILITY INFRAS TRUCTURE IN THE RTP 3
FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH. 4
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 5
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 6
Budget and Management the sum of thirty million dollars ($30,000,000) in nonrecurring funds 7
for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to Durham County to be used to enhance 8
and upgrade County wastewater utility infrastructure in the Research Triangle Park area to 9
support economic development and growth. 10
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 11
