A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO DIRECT THE STATE BOARD OF COMMUNITY COLLEGES TO INCLUDE 2
THE HEALTH SCIENCES LOCATIONS IN THE FUL L-TIME EQUIVALENT 3
STUDENT CALCULATION OF THE RESPECTIVE MAIN CAMPUSES OF CENTRAL 4
CAROLINA COMMUNITY C OLLEGE FOR THE PURPO SES OF MAINTAINING 5
MULTICAMPUS CENTER STATUS. 6
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 7
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding G.S. 115D-5(o), the State Board of Community 8
Colleges shall calculate the number of full -time equivalent students (FTE) required for the 9
Harnett Main Campus to maintain its multicampus center status by combining the total number 10
of FTE at the Harnett Main Campus with the total number of FTE at the Harnett Health Sciences 11
Center. 12
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding G.S. 115D-5(o), the State Board of Community 13
Colleges shall calculate the number of full -time equivalent students (FTE) required for the 14
Chatham Main Campus to maintain its multicampus center status by combining the total number 15
of FTE at the Chatham Main Campus with the total number of FT E at the Chatham Health 16
Sciences Center. 17
SECTION 3. Except as otherwise provided, this act is effective when it becomes 18
law. 19
