A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS TO THE TOWN OF GRIFTON FOR DESIG N OF 2
FLOOD RESILIENCY PROJECTS. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. The sum of three million dollars ($3,000,000) in nonrecurring funds 5
for the 2025-2026 fiscal year is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Grifton for 6
design and construction of flood mitigation and resiliency projects. 7
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 8
