AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE PERMANENT PLATES FOR WATER AND SEWER 2
AUTHORITY. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. G.S. 20-84(b) reads as rewritten: 5
"(b) Permanent Registration Plates. – The Division may issue permanent plates for the 6
following motor vehicles: 7

(21) A motor vehicle that is owned and operated by a water and sewer authority 9
created under Article 1 of Chapter 162A of the General Statutes." 10
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law. 11
