A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO ALIGN MEDICAID ELIGIBILITY WITH FEDERAL LAW. 2
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 3
SECTION 1. The Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health 4
Benefits, shall do all of the following: 5
(1) Disenroll Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc., and associated 6
entities as Medicaid providers. 7
(2) Discontinue any Medicaid contracts with Planned Parenthood Federation of 8
America, Inc., and associated entities. 9
(3) Engage other Medicaid providers to provi de Medicaid services previously 10
provided by Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc., and associated 11
entities. 12
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law. 13
