A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO REMEMBER ICONIC COMBATANTS THROUGH FOSTERING LEARNING 2
AWARENESS AND INTEREST IN RASSLING. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of 5
Natural and Cultural Resources the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in 6
nonrecurring funds for the 2025 -2026 fiscal year to study the feasibility of establishing a 7
professional wrestling museum in the State. By July 1, 2026, the Department shall report its 8
findings and recommendations to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Agriculture and 9
Natural and Economic Resources. 10
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 11
