A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS TO THE TOWN OF PINEVILLE FOR A 2
PEDESTRIAN HYBRID BEACON. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 5
Budget and Management the sum of five hundred forty-five thousand five hundred eighty-eight 6
dollars ($545,588) in nonrecurring funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year to provide a directed grant 7
to the Town of Pineville for the construction of a pedestrian hybrid beacon and a crosswalk across 8
Hwy 51 and Main St. at the Town Hall to increase pedestrian safety and contribute to the 9
walkability of the Town. 10
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 11
