AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNS TO PRESERVATI ON GREENSBORO 2
INCORPORATED FOR OPE RATING EXPENSES AND RENOVATION OF THE 3
HISTORIC BLANDWOOD MANSION. 4
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 5
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 6
Budget and Management the sum of one million dollars ($1,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for 7
the 2025-2026 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to Preservation Greensboro Incorporated 8
for operating expenses and restoration of the Blandwood Mansion, the 19th century residence of 9
Governor John Motley Morehead. 10
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2025. 11
