A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR CITY OF GREENVILLE PEDESTRIAN SAFETY 2
IMPROVEMENTS. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the Highway Fund to the Department of 5
Transportation the sum of five million dollars ($5,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 6
2026-2027 fiscal year to be allocated to the City of Greenville for pedestrian safety 7
improvements. 8
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026. 9
