A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS TO THE TOWN OF PINETOPS FOR EQUI PMENT 2
NEEDS OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 5
Budget and Management the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) in nonrecurring 6
funds for the 2026 -2027 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the Town of Pinetops for 7
allocation to the public works department operated by the town for equipment needs. 8
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026. 9
