A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1
AN ACT TO APPROPRIAT E FUNDS TO THE TOWN OF GRIFTON FOR DESIG N OF 2
FLOOD RESILIENCY PROJECTS. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 5
Budget and Management the sum of three million dollars ($3,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for 6
the 2026 -2027 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the Town of Grifton for design and 7
construction of flood mitigation and resiliency projects. 8
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026. 9
