GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA SESSION 2025 S 1 SENATE BILL 927 Short Title: Funds for YMCA REACH and Robinhood. (Public) Sponsors: Senator Lowe (Primary Sponsor). Referred to: Rules and Operations of the Senate April 30, 2026 *S927-v-1* A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1 AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO CERTAIN YMCA ENTITIES. 2 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 3 SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State 4 Budget and Management the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in nonrecurring 5 funds for the 2026 -2027 fiscal year to provide two equal directed grants for operations and 6 community programming support to the following entities: 7 (1) The YMCA location commonly referred to as YMCA REACH (Resources for 8 Economic Development, Academics and Community Health) Center at 9 Winston Lake. 10 (2) The YMCA location commonly referred to as the Robi nhood Road Family 11 YMCA located in Winston-Salem. 12 SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2026. 13
